Synopsys :
TiddlyWiki is a single html file that works as a wiki, you can use a real wiki like mediawiki. you can find some good stuff with the search function. You have also used to create the help file. I use with auto hotkey software, I've written and distribute at work.
Only one other person has contributed so far, but the wiki is useful for me as I use it as a notebook to keep important information. I try to update it about once a day as new things pop up at work. Someday, it will probably catch on and become a valuable resource for more than just me, but for now, I’m still happy with it. The hyperlinking, and built in search capability could be duplicated by making a Word or Open Office document, but the way tiddly wiki presents articles without showing everything else in the document as well, really cuts down on the clutter. TiddlyWiki also allows you to tag articles, so that you can group them logically.
TiddlyWiki is a small file. It works really well for organizing lots of small articles or chunks of data like how-to instructions, recipes, and the like. TiddlyWiki is popular with students for note-taking purposes. When I was in school, laptops were too expensive for students to tote them around to class, but that seems to be more common now.
TiddlyWiki works bestwith Mozilla Firefox and you can instal add-on POW (webserver), You can put TiddlyWiki in Htdocs. Now you can write your own Wiki. You can download TiddlyWiki

Media wiki V1.13.1
Label: wiki
Synopsis :
MediaWiki is a free software wiki package originally written for Wikipedia. It is now used by several other projects of the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation and by many other wikis, including this very website, the home of MediaWiki.
Wikis are structured from the start for participation. Editing a wiki is far simpler than modifying a typical website because doing so does not require HTML skills. Typically, editing a wiki page is just a matter of clicking the edit button on any page top or section header. You can write whatever you want, so long as it's constructive and adds to the next reader's experience.
The inventor of wiki, wanted to be able to quickly and easily share his ideas with colleagues over the internet. He decided to use the term wiki, which is Hawaiian for quick. Ward knew that there would be thousands, maybe millions, of other pages to link to, not just a few dozen. His big improvement was to make it much easier to link to internal pages than by using HTML. Instead, users could write links in CamelCase and more recently like [[this]]. Today, hundreds of thousands of people create wiki pages.
